Han-Modular® Hoods

HARTING Han-Modular® Connector System consists of a wide range of hoods with protection ratings up to IP69K with a compact design to save space. Han-Modular hoods are constructed using metal, plastic, and stainless steel, and the modular, robust structure provides design flexibility. HARTING Han-Modular inserts can be used in any standard Han hood with a Han docking frame.  

Han-Eco® Modular Hoods & Housings

HARTING Han-Eco® Modular Hoods and Housings are a corrosion-resistant, lightweight alternative to the metal hoods and housings used in tough industrial environments. Han-Eco Hoods and Housings are constructed using a high-performance Polyamide engineered to provide high resistance to environmental stress and meet the demanding flammability requirements of UL94 Class V 0. Featuring snap-together assembly using widely available modules from the Han-Modular® series, the Han-Eco series eliminates the need for tools during assembly, maximizes flexibility, and saves wiring space and time. When locked, these connectors offer IP65 protection as defined for DIN EN 60 529.

Han-Eco® 10A & 16A Hoods/Housings

HARTING Han-Eco® 10A and 16A Hoods / Housings are constructed with corrosion-proof, lightweight plastic that delivers high performance. These hoods and housings offer mating compatibility to metal hoods and housings in sizes 10A and 16A. The Han-Eco A series includes hoods, bulkhead mounting housings, surface-mount housings, and cable-to-cable housings. These products allow for the installation of inserts from the mating side and rear side of the cabinet. Click-and-mate technology is utilized to save on assembly time.

Han-Modular® Connector System

HARTING Han-Modular® Heavy-Duty Connector System is designed to provide users with a very high degree of connectivity and manufacturing flexibility. Han-Modular connectors can combine electrical, optical, and gaseous signal and power connections in one easy assembly. Basic modules snap into the mounting frame and can be exchanged separately anytime. Combinations of 1 to 12 modules are possible, depending on the size of the hood and housing chosen. Han-Modular consists of more than 40 module types and can connect to currents from 5A up to 200A, voltages from 50V to 5000V, pneumatic tubes from 1.6mm up to 10mm inner diameter, sensitive bus signals, and fiber-optic signals in both POF. and glass fiber cables. Han-Modular offers a range of basic modules developed to meet the vast majority of user application requirements. This product offering allows users to choose the hoods and housings, inserts, and accessories that best meet design requirements.
