MSS Magnetically Shielded Power Inductors

Coilcraft MSS Magnetically Shielded Power Inductors are available in AEC-Q200 Grade 1 (-40°C to +125°C) and Grade 3 (-40°C to +85°C) versions, making them suitable for the automotive engine compartment and LED applications. They are also ideal for high-temp applications requiring low DCR and excellent current handling in a compact package. Coilcraft MSS Magnetically Shielded Power Inductors are offered in a wide variety of footprints and heights to fit multiple applications.

MSS1246 Shielded Power Inductors

Coilcraft MSS1246 Shielded Power Inductors offer low DC resistance for greater efficiency and current handling up to 8A. The series utilizes a low-loss ferrite drum core for flat inductance vs. current, while the magnetic shielding allows high-density mounting. These inductors are AEC-Q200 Grade 3 (-40°C to +85°C)​ with a 12mm x 12mm footprint and 4.6mm height. Coilcraft MSS1246 Shielded Power Inductors are available in a wide range of industry-standard footprints and inductance values, making them a cost-effective option for general-purpose applications. A C410 sample kit with three each of all values is available.
