ADSP-SC592 SHARC+® Dual-Core DSPs

Analog Devices ADSP-SC592 SHARC+® Dual-Core DSPs are based on the SHARC+ dual-core and the Arm® Cortex®-A5 core. These Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) incorporate ADI Super Harvard Architecture (SHA). The ADSP-SC592 dual-core DSPs are optimized for high-performance audio/floating-point applications with large on-chip Static Random-Access Memory (SRAM). Key features include a powerful DMA system with 8 MemDMAs, on-chip memory protection, and integrated safety features.

SHARC® Processors

Analog Devices SHARC® Processors dominate the floating-point DSP market with exceptional core and memory performance and outstanding I/O throughput. These processors are based on a Super Harvard Architecture that balances exceptional core and memory performance with outstanding I/O throughput capabilities. The SHARC processors integrate large memory arrays and application-specific peripherals designed to simplify product development and reduce time to market. These processors are used in automotive, process control, and motor control applications.

ADSP-SC59x/ADSP-2159x SHARC® Processors

Analog Devices ADSP-SC59x/2159x SHARC® Processors include the ADSP-SC59x (ADSP-SC598/SC596/SC594/SC592) and ADSP-2159x (ADSP-21594/21593) series, developed to supply immersive audio and sound experience in automotive and consumer/pro-audio applications. The ADSP-SC59x/2159x audio processors are mainly targeted for applications that require deterministic and low-latency real-time audio processing. These applications include immersive 3D sound and personal audio zones, automotive active and road noise cancellation (ANC/RNC), voice-based user interfaces and in-car communications (AEC/NR and microphone beamforming), and engine sound synthesis (ESS) and electric vehicle warning sound systems (EVWSS/AVAS). Additional applications include professional audio, soundbars, and home AVRs (with 3D Object and Multi-Channel Audio).
