PI6CB33401 & PI6CB33402 PCIe Clock Buffers

Diodes Incorporated PI6CB33401 and PI6CB33402 4-Output PCIe Clock Buffers use a proprietary Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) design to achieve very low jitter. A low-jitter clock is an integrated circuit that produces a timing signal for use in synchronizing a system's operation. The jitter, or irregular time delay, meets Peripheral Component Interconnect Express Gen1/Gen2/Gen3/Gen4/Gen5 requirements. Other than PCIe 100MHz support, these devices also support Ethernet applications with 50MHz, 125MHz, and 133.33MHz via SMBus. On-chip termination can save 16 external resistors and make layout easier. The individual OE pin for each output provides easier power management.

PI6CB33x Gen 4/5 Compliant Clock Buffers

Diodes Incorporated PI6CB33x Gen 4/5 Compliant Clock Buffers offer an ideal clock solution for data centers, servers, storage, and network applications using the PCIe interface. The PI6CB33x Clock Buffer series includes 2-output, 4-output, 6-output, 8-output, and 20-output devices. The PI6CB33x Clock Buffers support High-Speed Current Steering Logic (HCSL) outputs with on-chip terminations for driving either 85 or 100 transmission lines. The on-chip termination eliminates the need for external resistors, simplifies PCB layout, and reduces the cost of materials (BOM). The PI6CB33x Clock Buffers also provide Output Enable (OE) pins for each output, providing easier power management.

PI6CG33x & PI6CB33x Clock Generators & Buffers

Diodes Incorporated PI6CG33x and PI6CB33x Clock Generators and Buffers are PCIe Gen 4 and Gen 5 compliant clock products. These clock generators and buffers offer very low jitter to support PCIe Gen 4/Gen 5 interface. The PI6CG33x consists of 2-output, 4-output, 6-output, and 8-output clock generators. These generators and buffers provide flexibility for the ease of board design and optimal performance. The PI6CB33x consists of 2-output, 4-output, 6-output, 8-output, and 20-output clock buffers. The clock generators and buffers support HCSL outputs with on-chip termination for driving either 85Ω or 100Ω transmission lines. Applications include data centers, servers, storage, and networking systems.
